FRER versus digital?????

Hi all! So I had my BFP yesterday, then another this morning (faint, but definate!). So I went this afternoon to try a FR digital because I've never tried one....and it said NO! ARG!

Are digitals less sensitive than FRER - it was the same brand and everything! Aw, now I'm freaking myself out!

I am sure everything is okay. A line means positive. Maybe the digital test was a dud.... or it may require a higher amount of Hcg. Have a happy and healthy 9 months.

Oh thank you! My fears were relieved a bit this morning when I took an Equate test and the line was darker than yesterday. If a cheapie like Equate can pick it up then I'm certainly not going to worry much about it!

When I was pg with dd I had the same thing happen.  The digital didn't pick it up so soon.  Good luck and a happy healthy nine months.

That's good to know. I guess it's just too early for a digital - 2 tests of mine are positive, 1 is just BARELY there (from 3 days ago) and the FR digital was negative. I wish I got the clearblue digital instead - I've heard great things about it!

I tested 3 days before AF was due, got a very FAINT positive (you can see the picture on my profile) and the digital said NOT PREGNANT.  Then, the day after AF was due I used the same tests, got a positive sign right away and a PREGNANT.  So I would test again in a couple days, unless its already been confirmed by the doctor.

i used a clear blue digital and at 9dpo i got a positive.  when i had my levels check, they were low, so the clear blue must have read at less than a 30 level of hcg.  i would recommend that brand to anyone.
