Me annd my husband are trying to conceieve. I am 3 days late. I have taken a hpt and it came back negative. I have had some of the symtpoms. I have been nasueas just about every day and a couple times a day. And it seems like the sametime every day.

My first test came back negative too but I'm 14 weeks pregnant now

The cheapy dollar store tests are good for showing faint lines in early pregnancy when regular ones might just say negative. If the lines get darker day after day, then that is a sign your hcg is going up. Good luck to you!

Thank you and yes I do know. When I take it in a couple of days i will be sure and try in the morning.

Also, you probably know this, but just in case, make sure you use first morning urine.

With some women it takes a little longer for hCG levels to build up enough for the test to detect them. You could wait a few more days and take another hpt. If it's still negative, call your doc for a blood test. Good luck!
