Bleeding

I know its normal to bleed during pregnancy, but how do you know when its an emergency? I'm bleeding not a massive amount but enough to make me concerned. I've had a misscarrage before so I'm scared, 6w5days now

Bright, red, continuous bleeding is reason to go to the hospital. Like a light period or heavier, especially with cramps. A few spots for a short time is usually ok, or a small "gush" that stops. You should be able to call the hospital, ask to talk to a nurse, and tell them what's going on and for how long.

Clots or bright red that is more than spotting you should go be checked. I had bright red bleeding at 8 weeks and it turned out to be from a uti.
