Brownish clump

This is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 15 weeks. I noticed I was bleeding yesterday though it wasn't very much it was still enough to
raise some concern. I went the the emergency room and they did an ultrasound and some blood work. Baby looked fine and was still breathing had a heartbeat. The doctor said it had been a rip in my placenta causing it to leak blood from the back. This morning I went to use the bathroom and I felt something fall out of my vagina, tmi I'm sorry. I looked down and saw what looked to be a brownish lump of some sort. I'm concerned and thought maybe someone on here could help.
