Well I was a caffeine nut! I now only have a decaff coffee in the morning, and only the odd time have a can of coke for example!

Caffeine doesn't really have any effects on the baby! For the first 3 months I could only drink Dr. Pepper water and tea and other sodas made me puke And I drank sodas with all my other pregnancies too...  None of my 3 kids have ADHD OR ADD

Okay let's get to the facts!  You can have caffiene but keep it under 200 mg which is one 12 ounce cup of coffee.  Or in other words a normal coffee cup holds about 8 Oz. So only one cup!  I'd limit to 1 can of soda too. It's only been studied to show that woman who consume 200 or more mg are at double risk of miscarriage or still birth.  But some studies show no link to that at all!  So it's just a percaution to take under 200mg.
