Anyone heard of round ligament pain?

Has anyone heard of round ligament pain?  When can you start having this?  i am due AF on tuesday but had really sharp pains this morning that felt like needles only lasted a few minutes.  Has anyone else experienced this? could i be pregnant if i'm feeling these?

I always have bad cramps 2 days before AF is due but i have had slight cramp but today the sharpness was like between my ovaries somewhere in the middle and a little to the right.  I've had swabs done and a smear which all came back clear on wednesday waiting on blood results on monday.  I don't think i am pregnant but so hope i am

I had R.L.P around 12 or 13 weeks.  Where is the pain?  Is it on one side?  You may need to see your dr.  I have a friend that had that happen and she has a cist.  R.L.P. feels like a cramp or ach.  Keep us posted.  God Bless, Anita

Thanks but don't worry i'm not building my hopes up i've learned to cope with always having a BFN as i've had it so many times this is just unusual as i've normally started cramping by now but nothing

Once you take a test, you will know for sure! I was around 7 weeks when I was experiencing round ligament pain. It was a very sharp, shooting pain on my lower left side. It would come and go all day. I never had any pains like that before I found out I was pregnant, but I would always get a slight pulling or tugging feeling where my ovaries are. Good luck!! Keep us posted.

I'm not sure if I had round ligament pain before I took a HPT or not because it was over 3months ago now.  Any who, I know for sure that after I took my first HPT(I was 2 weeks late at that point) I began to have terrible crapping pains in my lower right abdominal area and they felt like needles and they would only last a few minutes or seconds.  I'm not sure that when most people start having it, because everyone is different.  

You could be pregnant, but the only way to tell is to take a HPT and if it comes back negitive, I would wait wait until Tuesday and then test again unless you get AF before then.  Any who I think that would be your best bet, along with not reading into what you're feeling right now because you could be tricking your body into thinking that you're preggers, when infact you're not.
