light brown discharge

Hi ...... I am sorry for tmi but I am worried.
I am nine weeks pregnant. I heard heartbeat at six weeks four days (116). Today I had cream colored thick discharge. This when dried looked dark brown as if blood was in it. Though the discharge was less I am worried. From start I have no symptoms apart from occasional cramping and tiredness. I don't want to go to doctor for every thing. So just wanted ur opinion. Thank u so much for reading

Thank you all. Infact the discharge was yellowish which when dried turned to orange /brown.  I am totally confused by the color. I have no itching inside / near my vagina but having itching outside. Also (sorry again for all the tmi)  everyday usually once I get thick discharge which is yellowish (only yesterday I got different color) so has got anything to do with mucus plug?

i had it happen to me at 9 weeks too and was told by ob it was old blood from when the egg attached to the lining of the uterus wall.. abd light brown blood is good cause its old.. alot of bright red blood not so good.. also cramping if its not real painful and has blood w it is normal too its the urerus stretching.. u sould exactly like i did at 9 weeks.. stressing about everything is no good tho so relax!

i have the same thing happening to me right now & i have a lil cramping as well & ppl tell me not to worry as long as i'm not having blood coming out >hope every goes well with you

i think you should have your progesterone levels checked. low progesterone can cause spotting and can cause miscarriage. this is the worst case senario but better to be safe then sorry.

I think that as long as your not bleeding heavy you should be ok.  Instead of going to the doctor why don't you just call and ask .  That way it puts your mind at ease .  Plus you said it wasn't blood Its more like a brown discharge . Good luck with your pregnancy . Keep in touch
