Can I get pregnant?

My bf and I have decided to try for a baby. In August /09 I went off my birth control pills. My cycles have been irregular so far.25days,23 days, 25 days, 21 days. Just finished the last period today (sorry for too much info, but I want to be as thorough as I can be).
I want to know if it is normal for my cycles to be so irregular after coming off the pill (which I was on for about 9 years with a couple of times going off for a few months)
I also, want to know if it is possible to get pregnant even though my cycles are irregular.

I havent tried the ovulation kit. I think I am going to wait it out for a few more months before I start things like that. Im a little worried that if I put too much pressure on it that it will consume my life. And that is something I dont want to happen yet.
We arent trying as in mapping out our "go" days, but more like not trying to not get pregnant anymore....I think if it doesnt happen in the nest few months then I will make another Dr. appointment and then start all the tricks and stuff.
Thanks for your comments

it took me about 7 months to get pregnant after coming off the pill,my cycles were just like yours, and i had only been on the pill for a year.. but every one is diffrent so keep trying. i think it is possible even if your cycle is irregular, did you try the ovulation kit? i didnt but if i had to do it again id use them.
good luck
