Can a shorter period mean I'm pregnant?

Can a shorter menstrual cycle mean pregnancy? My period usually last 5 to 6 days. I have been a little off track for a few months for example I either start every 30 days or 32 days, this time it was 32 days. I had a little heavier than normal for the first day and then when the 2nd day was about over it slowed down. Now the third day I am just spotting? Can this mean I became pregnant before my period started?

I am wondering the same thing..my period started on time and bleed normal the first day but on day 2 I had pretty much stopped bleeding. There was a light red color when I wipe but that's it. What could this mean??

Some women do bleed while pregnant but if you've had negative pregnancy tests then you are most likely not pregnant.

Not always. My last period was 12-12-10 and the first day was normal, second day let up a lot and by the 3rd I spotted for a while that day and it was over. I took a test a few days afterwards and it was negative. I ovulated on Christmas and am now 7 weeks pregnant.
So, for some yes it could possibly mean pregnancy but more than likely, it's not always the case. I've had more than one period that was lighter and/or shorter. Mine always last 6 days. If you think you might possibly be though, just test to ease your mind. Good luck!

no i highly doubt it. that would be considered a period if it was constant flow for at least at two days. sometimes periods are just shorter. that used to happen to me all the time or theyd be longer then normal

no i guess it's normal.. i too have a similar pattern.. my cycle differs from 30 to 32 days.. and it's heavy during the second day and stops by the end of the third day.. good luck...
