Can a virgin get pregnant

Question

I had little foreplay with my girlfriend and accidentally couple of times my penis rubbed her vagina and now she's worried about it is it possible to get pregnant in this way? plus she is still a virgin. Her hymen is still in tact too.

There are three main factors that need to be present for your girlfriend to become pregnant in the manner described.  The first factor, as Cassandra mentioned, is the presence of sperm from ejaculation on the vaginal opening.  The second factor is the presence of fertile cervical fluid (stretchy egg white consistency) on the outside and inside of the vagina, by which the sperm uses as a medium to survive and swim into the uterus and fallopian tubes.  (CF shouldn't be confused with vaginal secretions from arousal.)  The third factor is the presence of an egg during ovulation.  The egg only lasts a maximum of 24 hrs. during which time it can be fertilized by the sperm.  These three factors must be present for the possibility of pregnancy.  The small window of time for fertile cervical fluid and the life of an egg is why so many women have difficulty becoming pregnant on their first few tries. 

Pregnancy hormones typically won't be strong enough to show up in urine for at least a couple of weeks from the time of conception, that's why women have to wait to take the home test.  The other option is a blood test by visiting a doctor's office.

You can have her take a home test in about 2 weeks from the incident, yes. The chances are low but the risk is still there. Good luck to the both of you!

The only way to test for pregnancy is to do a home test, or see a doctor.

yes you can still get pregnant if you are virgin, all you need is sperm and sperm can live on the outside of the vagina and enter. So there is a chance, specially if you used no BC
