worried cramping

So the last couple days I have had a lot if cramping, I have also been very gassy so I can't tell if I am cramping because of the gas or something else. I believe I am about 7 weeks along according to the rough estimate I recieved at the health department.  I don't go to the Dr until next month for my first Dr apt.  I have also had very very light spotting the last couple days. Only when I wipe when I use three bathroom and it isn't all the time. Should I Bree worried and go to the hospital to be checked or am I just over reacting.

I hadn't had any spotting or much cramping since I went to the er the other night but the spotting started again this morning.  I called the Dr yesterday and they bumped my apt from the 14th to the 7th so I am crossing my fingers that it will stop again and everything is OK.  I am trying to keep relaxed and laying low as much as possible but its difficult with a demanding full time job and a toddler at home

I got cramps from week 2 all the way til week 18. So it is normal to have cramps and gas. Even light spotting can be normal but I didn't have any.
If you got more than that, then you should let you doctor know ASAP. They should be able to do a ultrasound already at 8 weeks.

Went into the hospital last night and got checked just to make sure and he did an exam and said my cervix is closed and he didn't see any bleeding.  I plan on calling tomorrow to try and move my apt up.  He wouldn't do an ultrasound cuz he said it was too early.

I would call the Dr but its Saturday and I figured they wouldn't be anyone there.  I think I am just going to keep an eye on it and if it continues or gets worse then I will call the er our Dr.  Thank you for your responses

You can call your doctor, even if you haven't been there yet. Just call and ask what they recommend.
