my lil girl look like she could be a boy!
Has anyone ever had an ultrasound and been told they are having a girl, but when you look like the ultrasound picture it looks like it could be a very small penis? I'm so scared my girl is a boy with tiny parts. I tried to upload a picture but because its on my phone i guess it wont let me. Please has any one been in this situation?
I have pictures but my phone will not let me upload them. An my ultrasound tech did not tell me if she had seen any ovaries.
They are looking for overies on a girl not weather or not they see a penis my ultrasound looks like she has a penis but it is diffently a girl im due in two weeks and have had ultrasounds since the first to decide the sex and its a girl. They determine its a girl by her insides not really what's between the legs.

Haha, YES!! They did a 3d U/S at my gender scan and my little looked JUST like she had two testicles, but my 2d image was very clear and my ultrasound tech was confident it was a girl. Do you have any pictures?
Wow really?? You don't even get a growth scan?? And my little girl did look swollen down there so I thought she was a boy too...but the best way I can describe it is it looked like a hot dog down there lol...two big things on the side then a line down the middle
From my experience it is rare that the ultrasound tech is incorrect about the sex of your baby, however, it does happen remember that there are a lot of things that you can see in an ultrasound that can be misleading. Boy parts loom like a turtle O- and girl parts look like a hamburger. Don't create more stress for yourself than you have to it is unhealthy for the baby. If you are really worried about it take the picture to your next doctors appointment and talk to your doctor maybe they can help you. Happy pregnancy my dear!
I plan on paying for a 3d in about 2 months and maybe they can double check. Since my doctor will give me no more.
I thought this same thing and worried myself sick I first found out at 17+6....had it checked at 34+1 and its still a girl..
During pregnancy the labia are swollen, and sometimes this can be mistaken for a penis/testes. I found out at 15 weeks that I was having a boy, and to me he almost looked like a little girl (I think it was the angle). But at the next ultrasound luckly I was able to see what looked like a defined penis so I was less worried that they got it wrong the first time.
