Lighter Period. Not worried, but...

Okay, my period was all spotting the first day, and had it first thig the next morning.
However, in that time, I've only used 4 tampons and 2 pads.
I don't leave the tampons in longer than recommended, but usually my period is very heavy.
But it's not this time, I'm not really worried about it, it's just weird.

For example, I got home from school at about 4, put a clean pad on, and slept till 9 30 ish, went to the bathroom and that wasn't very much blood, maybe a spot the size of a half dollar coin.

Even when I woke up this morning (again with a new pad)
There still wasn't much.

Should this be reason to worry?

And do you think for any reason I should take a pregnancy test??

Thank you.

I understand it's not a real period, but it must have been close enough to her period that she was not worried about being pregnant.
She didn't think something was up until she cried over a dead bunny.

If it's close enough to your period that you're not suspicous of pregnancy, but are actually pregnant and don't change things about your lifestyle that need to be changed, can't that pose as  a problem to the pregnancy itself since you aren't taking proper care of yourself?

You can bleed during pregnancy but it isn't your period because you no longer ovulate. I bled for 5 weeks with my first daughter but always tested positive on a pregnancy test.

I didn't think so, it's just not usually like this.
I was wondering cuz my Grandma had her period for 6 months before she knew she was pregnant, so I know it's a possibility sometimes.

No. Even at 18 you are going to have off months. If you got your period ni matter how strange or not as heavy as normal it is, I doubt you're pregnant.
