My son is growing like a weed! He is so much like his daddy it's almost unreal. He's a real jabber head (also like his daddy lol). Brody has an appetite for sure. He's learned to grab things and of course they go straight to his mouth. I've been putting rice in his cereal since he was 2 1/2 months old ( He spit up a lot without it ).... Well at 3 months I switched him to oatmeal single grain because it seemed he was getting stomach aches with the rice. He's done so well on that. He's getting his second round of shots Tuesday :( His legs are super chubby and are just so cute! Lol..... Still has a head full of hair with a giant cow-lick at the top which makes him look bald in some places. LOVES LOVES LOVES baths. Always has. Loves to push the water out and wiggle. He's a tv watcher for sure. He's been watching tv since he was 8 weeks old. He adores Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Bubble Guppies.. and for some reason Dora the Explorer. I not much of a fan of that show but he likes it so... Still on a routine that he made himself. He takes about 3-4 naps during the day. Sometimes they are 30 minutes and sometimes they are 2-3 hours long. He'll sleep 9-10 hours at night. Which is great. He's pushing 22-23 pounds already. You'd think I was over feeding him but he eats 5 ounces now and 6 ounces if he's really hungry before bed. I don't give him any baby food yet. He's tried a little but I'm not ready for him to have it just yet. If he can still get full off formula w/oatmeal, I don't think he needs it. Maybe at the 6 month mark unless for some reason he needs it sooner. He'll be 5 months old Feb 7th....
Now to the new baby lol... I went to the doctor last Friday and he said my uterus "felt" to be 6 weeks when I think I should have been almost 9... But since we are unsure we are schedule for an ultrasound on Monday. Everything so far seems to be going okay. I was severely nauseated this time. My pregnancy with Brody, my nausea came and went. Wasn't really all that bad. It was mainly due to me being hungry. This time it got so bad I didn't want ANYTHING. And drinking water was a chore. I was prescribed phenergan and zofran for the nausea. Phenergan helps a lot and I am able to eat. Also with Brody, I wanted salty-sour foods, pizza, cokes, tea and all the not so good stuff. I'm eating better this time. I want healthy stuff like apples, Nutri-Grain bars, juices, water etc. I don't drink any soda's, don't drink tea or anything else really besides water. Every now and then I drink orange juice. It's so amazing how different pregnancies can be. My doctor said my due date (until the ultrasound can confirm or change) is September 7th... Which is the SAME day I had my son. Hoping it changes because I don't want to be in the hospital on his first birthday. And really, having two kids with the same birthday is crazy Lol .... by my lmp I'm due August 19th. We will see Monday. I know the baby is alive in there because I have a doppler I bought with my son and I've managed to get the heartbeat... Brody's was 135-136. The doppler is picking up 165-174 for this pregnancy...
Well, sorry this was so long but I just felt like updating lol.. I added a picture of my sweet boy Brody.. Still can't believe he's all mine :)
