Irregular periods, not sure when to test

I always have irregular periods. I usually only have them about 4 times a year and at weird times so I am having a hard time figuring out when I should expect it. I know I ovulated this month. I took the ovulation tests and got positives on the 21st and the 22nd. I'm not sure when to expect my period so I can accurately test. I took a test this morning and it was BFN, but I think it may still be early. All the tests say 99% accurate from the day of your expected period, I just know when that is.

I have talked to the doctor and had many check ups, they told me that I am just very sensitive to stress. I had a chemical pregnancy in August, so I figured I couldn't rely on those dates to figure out when I would expect anything this month. I was married in June so I didnt have periods, definately a good amount of stress. So it is just hard to do all the math.

Hiya well if you ovulated, you will get your period within 14 to 16 days.this is the given rule after confirmed ovulation,( luteal phase) i have to say though that since you have irregular cycles,positive ovulation tests are not always correct.your body may not have released the egg,hence why you have longer cycles.have you discussed this problem with your doctor.if you did ovulate,then you would be due your cycle in a few days..
