Cloth diapers

Anybody brave enough to do cloth diapers? They're so cute and there are a lot of benefits but I'm wondering if it will just add to the stress of being a young mom...

I used cloth on my son from 3 months to potty training. It's much easier than people think and I only had to do one load of diaper laundry every three days which isn't enough to make a big difference considering all the other household laundry. Sometimes I used a diaper sprayer to clean off poopy diapers and sometimes i just scrubbed them by hand, either way all the poop ended up in the toilet where it belongs. I never switched to sposies just because we were going to be out of the house - I just used waterproof wetbags to store wet/dirty dipes until we got home.
My partner and I taught our son's caregivers to change his cloth diapers, everyone from daycare providers to grandparents to our teenage babysitter and my older brother. We were thrilled by how easy, cute, and trim they were and others were shocked by how much cloth has changed since the days of pins and plastic pants.
We've made several trips to visit family 8 hours away, gone for a week at a time, using cloth the whole way. It's really not that hard. Saved thousands of dollars on diapers just for him and I've kept the full stash so when we have our second baby we won't have to buy a single diaper unless we want to (ruffled dipes and some girly prints might have to happen if we have a girl).

I plan on using them around the house, but when we go places or are out of the house, that will be when i switch to a disposable diaper lol i would not want to be lugging around poop cloths all day lol
Cloth at nights, and the occasional sat morning in doing household cleaning and things like that when you have direct access to what ever you need to clean them should be fine. You will be free to throw that poopy cloth in the washer in the comfort of your own home. if you dont have a washer you can scrub it out in your bathtub or sink.

I dont think the will make your life harder as a young mother, as long as you use a little bit of both.

The cloths save you some money while at home. And the disposables save you the mess while you aee out (:

Omg they are so easy and so awesome !! And cute !! And no you don't just throw a diaper full of poop in the washer ?! You have a diaper sprayer and spray all the poop and pee into the toilet then you throw them in the washer to get them super clean  !

I am going to use them. You can get disposable inserts too for when you are on the go that are flushable. Lots of options and you can use them with subsequent children.

I'm not brave enough. I have a friend that did it that had disposable diapers as a back up plan to take away the stress of keeping the cloth diapers washed as soon as the baby needs them.
