normal :)

So my babies down syndrome rest can back 100% normal :) now next thing on my check list would be the gestational diabetes test (i hope i wrote that right). Now my question to you ladies is how many of you took the 1 hour test? And how many had to take the 3 hour test? What does it consist of? how long until you get the results? If you fail both test  what did the doctor have you do? Change your diet, insulin, other? Please and thank you ladies :)

I took the one hour test, drank the orange drink (which is actually NOT as bad as everyone says!) And had my blood drawn. My results took a week and were normal. From what ive heard, the 3 hour test consists of taking your blood every three hours after drinking the drink. If you fail again, you have gestational diabetes and this is when measures are taken to control your blood sugar levels. Changing your diet has a lot to do with it, as well as taking medication.
