Being bloated is normal during pregnancy, unfortunately!! Of course, being pregnant multiple times or previouly makes you show earlier than your first. This is my second pregnancy and I am 17 weeks, still not noticeable yet, deoends on genetic factors, body shape etc. as well. If you know what foods make you bloated try to avoid them, in my case it's milk products so I try to avoid particular products.
This is my first pregnancy and I was showing by 8 weeks. I am only 5' tall, though and am petite. I don't know if it was bloating or actual baby bump, but both my mom and my sister (who are the same size as me) were showing by this time with all their pregnancies as well. I am now 26 weeks along and people keep asking me when I'm due. So different women just show differently. And it depends on a lot of factors - how tall/big you are, where your uterus is laying, where you carry, etc. Just have fun with it and "embrace the bump!" Ha ha! :) That's what I had to do. Although we waited seven years to get pregnant, so by the time it finally happened, and I was showing, I was stoked about it!
I feel the same way, This is my 3rd pregnancy and I feel like i look 4 months preggo and I am only 10 weeks.... I think it might have alot to do with bloating as well....
I had the same thing. I am now 15 weeks and my belly has flattened out. I think it was all bloating. (and the fact I was constipated so bad)
I lost twenty pounds between my first and second trimesters, and my belly looked a little bloated, like I had picked up weight instead of losing. I didn't start "showing" until I was closer to 25 weeks. I just had a small belly and looked like I had been pigging out on junk food. Lol.
It's very normal to be bloated while pregnant, especially in the first trimester. I got super puffy during mine and looked enormous--it was awful. Sadly I had pictures done then too, and I was big.
Thanks Clysta i feel like a big blob lol but why am I so bloated tho....
It is true, however at the stage you're at now it's more likely to be bloat and retention. The baby is still very tiny, and it's not going to cause a massive belly. I've also noticed that many women will think they look larger, and to other people there's really no difference.
