Communicating with your baby

How many of you are spending time with your baby and enjoying the pregnancy. There are many ways to communicate with the baby in our womb like talking, reading, singing, touching.. Even through smell and taste we can communicate, they'll respond to us. Please share your experiences.
I play songs to her and sing to her. My bf tells stories to her which happened in our life. Whenever I smell Mango she kicks me, I'm not sure whether she likes it or not but I love to smell it for her. I do many things in my daily life with my baby, I too had many critical situations during early days of my pregnancy, sometimes I went into depression, but finally I'm living for my baby and I love her more than anything... So I'm trying to spend most of the time with her.

I record my voice, and plug in my earphones & out one side on my tummy for my son to hear, he moves around a lot :)

My boyfriend talks to my lil boy in he absolutely loves it, feel like he be doing flips in there. I wanna start reading to him but idk what children's book to read him

Octoberlove7: you are welcome.. Babies are in learning stage now, they learn to do many things alone. They can hear sounds after 16 weeks and they can view the light 20 weeks onwards, few weeks later they can view things which are blur in black & white. Their taste buds start to develop along with vision..they like to taste their favorite food and acknowledge us...

My husband loves to read to her, we've been reading a collection of Robert Munch books to her. My husband also travels for work do when he gets home he will always say hi to her and kiss my belly :-).

My boyfriend talks to my baby when hes home which is omly 1 week every 3 weeks. But she loves it and reacts every time hes home. And if he doesnt say hi to her when he first gets home and she knowd he home she gets mad. I think its cute.

I have only been singing in the shower to my baby, but you just gave me such great ideas to try. I reallylike that you smell mangos and your baby let you know she recognizes the smell! So cute to know that we can bond with them even before they come! Thank you for sharing!
