I'm so congested I can barely sleep at night. My doctor said I could take Sudafed but after reading somethings some doctors say yes some say no? So anyone use it while pregnant before?

I used Afrin as my nose was stuffed my entire pregnancy woth my 2nd son.  It was also (but not as bad) with my daughter  (born 10 days ago) and I used nasal spray both times.  The doctor had it on the list of sade medications, but warned that it is addicting.  I was able to stop using it just a couple days after my son was born, and I've only used it a couple times since my girl was born (usually just one side plugs up now).

I was sick a few weeks ago hadn't been sick in 3 years and got a nasty cold and I was stuffed up at night for about a week I had to sleep sitting up or I couldn't breathe then I went and got a humidifier with  and that helped out soo much.

Hi, sorry you aren't feeling well.  What about mucinex? That can help. You can try steam (boil water and safely put head over it w towel or steamy shower) or maybe a netti pot?  You doctor wouldn't mislead you though if they something is safe.  Good luck and feel better!
