Constipation & Bisacodyl??

Iv always suffered with constipation, especially with my first pregnancy and now with my second. I am 12 weeks today and have tried everything in the book! All natural, eating plenty fruit/veggies, water, fruit juices and prunes (vile!!) im at my wits end and havent had a bowel movement in weeks! Hence why i am concidering the less recommened meds like Bisacodyl - has anyone taken this before during pregnancy?? im terrified incase of any bad effects on baby. Iv scowered google and there are no proven or suggested fetal side effects.. But i need to know from personal experience as i just cant cope anymore and my doctor isnt prescribing me anything that works - lactulose, movicol, senna etc. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. I took it and my son is fine(: and colitis is usually when people go to the bathroom multiple times in one day and have a hard time gaining and not just constantly losing weight, I know a few people with is and they are skin and bones and have to take meds so that they are able to gain weight

I'm 8 weeks suffering from constipation and yesterday when I consult my doctor she suggested lactulose syrup. After reading your post I am thinking like  I don't know if that would work well and also suggested an anesthetic cream to be applied before the bowel movement to be free from any pain in the rectum.

Id never heard of colitis before, just googled it and the symptoms dont tick any boxes.. So im assuming not?
