I am currently 4 weeks pregnant..My H.C.G levels at the E.R were 1400 and some odd points....5 days later they were 1500 and some odd point....they are doing another blood test Monday and my Dr wants to see them at 1800 to 20000 does it matter how far your  H.C.G's rise as long as they are rising in early pregnancy??? I have also had some bleeding and cramping....the cramping has almost completely went away but I'm still bleeding.....Any opinions?

Hi Jessica... unfortunately it's impossible to tell just by one HCG reading, sweetie. they have to take a few over several days and figure out if your HCG is going up or not. With an early pregnancy they wouldn't see anything on the ultrasound...and some women do bleed early in pregnancy and still have a healthy pregnancy...but a lot of heavy bleeding is not usually a good sign. when do you have a follow-up appointment? they can do another HCG blood draw and tell you then. Good luck hon

Try this website/page.  I found this for another poster that was worried about her HCG levels.  Hope this helps.
