maybe farther along than I think...

Ok a post on here said something about implantation bleeding.. I'm kind if confused about how far along I am now because I think I might of mistaken implantation bleeding for a period which only lasted 3 days and was a little lighter than any period I've experienced. But going off that as a period i'm only 12 w2d  if that was implantation bleeding and I mistook it for a period would I be much farther along?

Ok once you have your first appointment they will either do a in office date scan or send you for one! Nothing to worry about!  Most people do not even see or get into the doctor until after 12wks! At which they will most likely do your blood work...which will include blood type, genetic test, and other stander blood work ( which is blood count, thyroid, calcium, potassium , and others) seems like its a lot but really it's not only a few viales!

I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow at 9 am. I'm going to tell her about it and hopefully they do an ultrasound I really need to know how far along I am because its bugging the crap out of me lol!  Plus if I am father along then that means i'm already in my second trimester. I just hope everything is going okay for my baby. Its just annoying not knowing for sure what's going on inside of me and if my babys alright. My friend told me to go to the er and lie saying i'm having sharp pains so they'll do an ultrasound so I can be sure but i'm a horrible liar lol!

I agree tell your doctor. They will most likely do a dating scan.

Have you been to the doctor yet? I only ask because you have a ultrasound at around 12wks to measure baby's development which will also measure te heart beat and then again one at 18-20 weeks for organ and skeletal measurement!

No I haven't had an ultrasound And more than likely my doctor won't do one until i'm around 20 Weeks. Should I tell her about it and see what she has to say about it? I go in tomorrow for my appointment.

Have you had an ultrasound? More than likely, it wasn't implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is nothing like a period and doesn't have a flow. It could have been vaginal bleeding while pregnant, but you would still use what your proper LMP would be. If you've had an ultrasound, use that.
