Contractions

FTM so can anyone explain what contractions feel like? everyone says ill know when they happen but i dont know if i will!

They start out feeling like you have on a tight belt on your lower tummy and it feels like the baby is in a ball in a place in your tummy. Then they progress into longer closer and more intense.

I'm a ftm as well and trust me you'll know haha for the first time I got a couple and I'm only 29 weeks I wasn't 100% sure then I asked my doctor and she was like yup that's real contractions!

I had back contractons for a while and to me they were not that back. Just felt like bad back pain, but if my husband put pressure there it was fine. Then ir switched to the front contractions and personally I thought those hurt more. But they still were not bad until transition. They feel like cramps. But yes you will know. Cuz they will come on and off and wont go away

You will definately know :D I've only had back contractions but they hurt so much, I was telling the midwife just to remove my spine! You might miss the first few but once they get going you'll know :)
