Cooking With Liqour

...while pregnant. I was watching Rachel Ray this morning & she made this banana foster spiced rum French toast.  Omg it looked soooooo delicious! I know not intake alcohol spike pregnant, but when you cook with it... does the alcohol evaporate just leaving you with the flavor?  If so, I wanna make some. :)

Alcohol does not always "cook out"-- we discussed this a lot in my chemistry class and again in my nutrition class (when it does it can take several hours). If the dish is aflame, as much as 75 percent of the alcohol can be left behind. It's best to avoid it altogether or ask your doctor if you REALLY want it...

It takes flour paprika garlic salt pepper 1egg and my hubby drinks coors light so that's what we use.. any beer works tho.. I personally have never liked alcohol let alone beer so for me to like it is weird haha since it doesn't taste like it in food
