confused after reading your posts!

Hi All, I'm a newbie, but have been reading through all off your posts, and now i'm confused!
Although i have only come off the pill 10wks ago me and hubby are TTC i had a lot of cramping last month and then had a 1 day bleed which was lighter than norm.
For the next wk i became a serial tester as every test i did had a shadow/faint line as a second line,this faint line was not hair line but thick the same size as control line.
My doc was v unhelpful, but sent me for a scan as she thought poss PCOS.
As off my dates i would have been 5wks at time of scan, i explained to the male scanner what has been happenin and he briefly scanned my abdomen refusing to perform internal scan i was booked for!
He told me no pregnancy and moved on to kidneys, bladder etc but reading what some of you are experiencing he poss wouldn't have seen anything this early?
I'm gonna do another test in next few days as on night shift at work so unable to dart to shops and hubby has been driven mad with all my testing! (My friend did the same test & got no faint line.)
If anyone wants to chat or offer advice please i'd be very grateful. xx

It could all be side effects of coming off the pill.  My cycle was slightly off just after I stopped b/c and my bbs were really sore.  But, the bleeding you experienced also could have been implantation bleeding.  I would wait until you were actually late, and then go back to the doctor.  But, just in case, don't drink, smoke, etc. It's still very early and without an internal scan, the tech could have missed the sac,

Thanks for quick response. my light bleed was on 3rd april and nothing since.
My breasts have been really tender and feel larger to me although my hubby thinks they are the same and i'm just convincing myself otherwise.
I've had some on /off cramping and lower back ache and strange but lots of saliva so not sure if this is whats making me feel little green.
I've also read that my symptoms can be due to coming off pill 10wks ago, but kinda took scan as a big No for that month now i'm not so sure.
Gonna have to test again

At 5 wks he may not have seen much... maybe a gestational sac/thickening of the uterus.  It really depends.  I would talk with your doc about the fact that the tech refused to do the type of ultrasound that was scheduled.  It could also be that you are experiencing a very early miscarriage which could accuont for the faint lines.  Or it could simply be too early.
