checking for dialation??

When did your doctor start checking you for dialation? IStarted to feel the pelvic pressure/pain this week and i have a feeling i might go into labor early this is my fourth baby so yeah and my doctor wont even check  if im dialating until 39 weeks...how am i suppose to know if im progressing?

I am 32+5 im starting to feel pressure and im thinking i might have him around.d 38 weeks..maybe once i get alittle closer i will ask to be checked.

I was checked at 32 weeks because I was complaining of pressure and pain down there, I had also been in the hospital 2 times previously to the appointment for pre term labor. Usually they start to check around 36-37 weeks.

I got checked at 37 weeks.. Try asking your dr say you really feel the need for it.. I don't see why they wouldn't do it

I got checked the first time at 35 weeks, but only because I'd had some contractions already. My dr normally wouldn't check for the first time until 36 or 37 weeks.

My dr started checking me at 35 weeks. I simply said, ive been having cramps and braxton hicks contractions, can you check if im dialated? i was 20% effaced and 0cm dialated. I got checked again today at 38w2d and she said im 1cm and ready for induction. so my baby will be here monday. yay. how far are you? :)
