how about a cake with a cot and baby on it. Or with grandparents to be...again. Or get 2 balloons one with its a girl and the other its a boy and Hagee both families round tor dinner and they will see the balloons.
Your first is so special and exciting...I just feel like especially my parents, who this will be their 6th grandchild, have gotten all the traditional announcements lol. For his parents, this will be their 3rd so we have a few more options. When we told them we were pregnant before our miscariage, I had my son draw on his magna doodle and I wrote on it, nani and pop-pop (that's what he calls his parents), I'm going to be a big brother! His sister and brother in law were really sick and quarantined so we sent them a pic of the crayola easel that they had bought my son for christmas showing his first drawing on it. I wrote the message that he was going to be a big brother and let him then hold the marker which made it look like he wrote it. We were so creative then, and now I've got nothing!
Well idk how this would work to a crowd of ppl but for us when I get pregnant we r telling our parents "both sides" by taking them out to eat and giving each of them a grandparent card that says somethibg about grandparents and such with the ultrasound picture in it and signed see u in July or whatever my due date is. I think they will b shocked and happy n it's something they can keep, it's out first so it's a big deal.
