Cycle day 9

Okay girls ...those of you who know whats been going on with me.  Remember the blood clot I passed a few days ago.  Well i'm on cycle day 9 and I am still bleeding.  It's almost gone so i think today is the last day...but my periods usually only last about  or 5 days at the most.  Any thoughts?

thanks girls...I just got home from my regular doctor where they found a pretty ugly sinus infection  on both sides which(i'm pretty sure has been going on for at least a good 2 months) so at least i'll be good and healthy by the time I ovulate( and the doctor said the meds should be out of my system by then) so hopefully this will be our month.  I feel really confident that this month is going to result in a BFP.  I will go to the new OB on thurs so I will be sure to update you all.

my period always last 12-14 days. i hate it..it is messy. and it is usually very heavy. it is always normal for me to have long period. My doc doesnt think it is normal but she couldnt find anything wrong with me.. i am now 3 months pregnant and never spot..not even a drop of blood..i am so glad to be all dried up..!

Although I have never had a m/c it took me a year and a half to get pregnant this time around...It will happen when the time is right.

yeah i thought it was strange as well...never that long for me.  Well my last one I didn't even know until I went in for an u/s and the only found a sac but no pole.  I didn't start bleeding until really late and as soon as I did i went to the ER and had to have a D&C done.  As for the doctor... I had an appointment on the 3rd of march but I got it moved up to the 28th of Feb (next thurs)  This will be my first time going to this OB as I am switching doctors so I doubt calling will do much good.  Thanks

That is a long time to be on your period.....but I guess its not un heard of.

wow, Im sorry.....m/c are hard. I have never had one so I dont know what to expect as far as what your feeling. Is it the same as with the last m/c you had? Have you contacted your doctor?

thanks for responding.  Well we had one miscarriage this past summer and hubby and I have been trying to get pregnant again since.  I thought we were pregnant this cycle b/c i had some symptoms and I have been charting my temps and they stayed high until 18days after ovulation when they dropped.  I assumed I had my period but then when I was expecting it to end I passed a pretty large blood clot and here it is 9 days after the start and it's still going.  My head had also been KILLING me and i'm pretty exhausted.  I never got a positive pregnancy test but I can't help but think I had another miscarriage.

I remember when I was younger, maybe about your age and mine used to last for a week(7days) sometime it would even last longer:( I hated it, but as I got older it lightened up alot and shortened.
I guess I really dont understand the question...as I havent read your other posts:(

sorry that posted twice i only hit the button once...that was strange
