My doctor told me absolutely no alcohol during pregnancy even if it is wine no matter what color or amount.

Btw to the ladies who say your baby is healthy, a lot of symptoms of fetal alcohol syndrome do not come out until later. My friend has foster kids who are 3 and 4 both have HUGE delays and all of their teeth are rotted out both of these their doctor says is because of being exposed to alcohol while they were in the womb.... On Tuesday they are both getting 4 root canals a piece... Remember that while your enjoying a drink.

Discuss this topic with your doctor. You are going to hear conflicting views about it (obviously from the posts above.) And remember, its only 9 months of your life. You need to do what's best for baby. Good luck with everything.

My midwife told me no alcohol but i was pregnant on my 18th birthday and i had a sip of wine and my baby is perfectly fine and is perfectly healthy. It was only a sip though not a glass. And i was 7 and a half months pregnant. Hope this helps.

Well I had like a big sip or a margarita and a sip of some beer when I was like 13,weeks anf so far and baby's fine.. But I havnt had a drink since then.

A glass of red wine is ok im sure, i heard it was too. I asked my doctor and she said one small glass of red wine actually will help your heart

My doctor says no because one drink can cause fetal alcohol syndrome. Discuss this with your doctor if you are considering drinking!,
