5 weeks pregnant with cramps?

So I found out I was pregnant on Saturday and me and my partner couldn't be happier!
I'm a little concerned though as I've been experiencing cramps since yesterday afternoon. They're not too bad but they're not what I would call light either and after suffering a miscarriage in December I'm understandably a little nervous of it. I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar around 5 weeks?

I had the same issue. I thought it was a preggo symptom, turns out I had a uti. But I know cramps are normal, if not accompanied by bleeding.

Thank you, Becca! I'm also getting a few sharp cramps just isolated to my left side so I think if that continues through the night I'll give my GP a call to be on the safe side x

You will get cramps as it's due to baby attaching to whom they will pass and then later on pregnancy you could get them as baby is getting bigger I'm 28weeks and I still get cramps. As long as there's no bleeding you should be fine. Best of luck

Tell me about it. I'm on my second. So I tend not to worry as much. But my husband was always saying everything was okay. It would drive me nuts. Even if it was! Lol.
