My doctor told me unisom is safe to take. It helps with the sleep and morning sickness.

My doctor has prescribed me Ambien during my two pregnancies. My hormones cause me to have insomnia, and I was averaging 2 hours of sleep a night.

Not be discouraging, because i dont know how to help you, but i will say i feel your pain!!! Around the same time with my pregnancy i had THE WORST insomnia. I couldnt sleep at all!! It was awful! I think its hormones which we cant help, but just to be encouraging for me the 2nd trimester i was able to sleep sound again. So hang in there! Im 28 weeks now, and for some reason i cant fall asleep til 4am or later BUT im able to sleep well rested. I think its our bodies trying to prepare us for our little babies who will need lots of our attention at night :)
