Disappointment

Hi all,
Myself and my partner paid for a private gender scan today to find out the sex of the baby - I'm only 16+6.
I have always dreamt of having a little girl as I have 3 little sisters and have mainly women in my family so I thought it would be a strong possibility. I had visions of buying frilly pink dresses and braiding hair.
The sonographer told us it was a boy and my I tried so hard to hide the upset from my partner who is absolutely ecstatic.
I feel really guilty for feeling this way because I have been blessed so far with a healthy baby and know I should be greatful.
Has anybody else had this? If so how did you overcome it?

my first two pregnancies i wanted boys nvr wanted girls bt i ended up with two beautiful girls and now im finally having a son, no more kids after this tho now hahaha.

I actually paid for an early gender scan and they said girl... (Was totally hoping for a boy) I have a boy and he is easy going and its super fun and been hearing how much harder it is for a girl.. so once I found out its a girl.... I cried and my fiance is so happy and wanted a girl... But just think a boy is so much easier theory not as needy and are so much fun and cheaper for certain things too!(: I just said well as long as my child is healthy ... Idk what I'm having... The lord has blessed me with this child and I will love my children more than life itself!

I was really upset to find out I was having a girl. After a while I got over it and I am just happy she is healthy and growing. My fiance has reassured me that we will try again for a boy. A baby is a blessing regardless of the gender, look at it that way
