I had dizziness during pregnancy and had to watch my salt intake...also caffeine...try avoiding chocolate, msg, and anything high in sodium....it may make you feel less dizzy...
Good luck! Let us know what he says so we can all watch out for these signs as well.
Thanks, I think I'm going to do the tally thing, I drink a lot during the day it seems but who knows it probably just seems like a lot to me! I'm going to try that and mention it to my doctor on Friday.
Dizziness is definitely associated with pregnancy but your doctor still needs to know about it. When your blood sugar levels drop you can become ill, even dizzy. When you feel dizzy like that again you need to drink a ton of water, eat a little snack, and lay down until it passes.
It sounds to me like you might be dehydrated. I'm no doctor, so of course you need to back this up with a doctor. The swelling can also be associated with dehydration.
You don't need 8 glasses of water a day when pregnant. You need around 10-12 glasses of water, more if you drink pop/coffee/tea (because they dehydrate you). Keep a tally sheet by the sink and make a mark every time you drink a glass of water. At the end of the day you'll know how much you're getting.
i wouldnt worry ive had this with all pregnancies and again this time its starting now and im 14 wks get up slowly, it could also be low blood sugar eat little and often
I have an appointment on Friday so I'll bring it up to them then, but it's getting to the point that I stand at work and the room starts spinning for like 2 seconds and it will just go away, I haven't had swelling except one day I noticed my hands swelled for like an hour maybe, so I'll talk to them about it Friday. Thank you!
sounds like lack of blood flow. If you are always that dizzy you NEED to call your doctor and let them know. So they can possibly do the necessary tests.
