Do you O the same time every month?

Question ladies. Do you ovulate the same time every month?  What happens if your period fluctuates from month to month?  I know you should do the whole BBT thing. But i hav taken a break this month with that. I just wonder because tow cycles ago i was 6 days late for my af, then i was 6 days early. Just curious if you o the same time every month regardless of your period.

Maybe i should just bd every other day until my period. I dont want to keep investing $$ every month ya know. My first pregnancy, i didnt even chart. I just bd'd every other day to two days. And ever since my m/c, i have been charting, and no luck. Its like is backwards. Now that i am planning for it, it wont happen. Last time we kind of winged it, and it happened. Maybe if i ignore the charting thing it will happen.

Well, let me tell you after 9 month of TTC #1 I started charting.  What I found out was I O'd on CD 9 so I was TOTALLY missing my window...then when I finally conceived I O'd on CD 18. I am back to charting and TTC #2 and I O'd last month on CD 23 and this month on CD 16!!!!!!!!!!!  It's soooooooooooo frustrating but if you really want to get PG ASAP, I suggest at least buying some OPK (internet cheapies) so that you can track all month.  Make sure you pee at the same time every day...

11 DPO is not long ennough to hold onto the pregnancy to implant which would need progestrone...but if your not tracking you may be off on your DPO...

Hmm...a little bit confused. This was my cycle for the past 4 months. 10/29, 11/27, 12/27, 1/20. I am due for my af on the 2/16, according to FF.com. But its weird. My cycle is usually 25-26 days. I m/c on 9/29, and ever since my af's changed. Got my next period on 10/29.  From 10/29  to 11/27, that is 28 days, then on 11/27 to 12/27, that is 30 days, then 12/27 to 1/20, was only 25 days. I charted last month, and i O'd on 1/9. Then got my period 10 days later (1/20).  What is that about. I dont want to bother with the whole BBT thing. Its a pain. And i get watery, and slipper CM a few days in a row, not sure when the big O happens. I just want to be able to count the calendar and know when my o time is, and not bother with the BBt or CM, CP thing. But is seems I may have to go back and chart.

You will have a period 12-16 days after ovulation. So if your period was late one month, that means you ovulated late. If your period comes early, you ovulated earlier.

Regular women tend to ovulate the same cycle day every month. Irregular women have to figure out what's going on first!

No, it doesn't go by what time of month it is, it is a certain [the actual amount of time seems to be argued among different people] amount of time before your period. so like for example, you could ovulate 16 days before your period, then it would be the same every month..  so if your period was later or earlier than a different month, it would still be the same number of days after ovulation.. if that makes sense to you..?
