Does it hurt?

Does it hurt when the doctor breaks your water?

Didn't hurt me either just felt a gush of fluid. Afterwards was another story...

They just take a long stick like thing with a hook at the end and put it up into your cervix and break the bag. I dont think you should really feel that being that that part of the bag isnt attached to you lining anymore

I didn't notice since my contractions were so painful.

No meds and all I felt was the water leaking.

I was induced with my first pregnancy, I didn't have no epidural. And when my doctor popped my water bag, I didn't even feel it. I only felt all the water just gushing out. LOL

I wasn't on any pain meds or anything and didn't feel a thing, it was pain free for me

My bag ripped. They had to continue to beak out. It hurt like hell n kick jumped labor.

Yep. Maybe she was just too rough. But yep it hurt. Not bad it hurt.
