Further along than I think?

Hey ladies I need your opinions/help. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and my due date is November 20. I didn't have my period for about 3 months before i got pregnant, so we couldn't go by that to see how far along I was. So, according to my babys size, I'm 25 weeks. But, my mom told me yesterday that for my whole family (her, my grandma, my aunts) the babies ALWAYS measured 2-3 weeks behind in growth because were so small (most of my family is around 5 ft). And also, my boyfriend is a little guy lol only 5'7.  So, she said she thinks I'm most likely actually around 27 or 28 weeks. But like I said, my period was non-existant when I got pregnant so idk. Do you think I could actually be 27 weeks or would you go with what the doctors say?

Gestational age is also based on development of the baby so the age you received from your ultrasound is going to be pretty accurate.

No.. ultrasounds are very accurate. I doubt the baby is measuring 2-3 weeks ahead.  Just BC youre short or youre family is short has nothing to do with how a fetus develops. If that were the case that would be true for all short woman

They had to go by how big baby was at my first ultrasound because of the no period thing so its so confusing! Lol I just don't know if I should have everything ready a month earlier just in case

No I don't think you're 27-28 weeks. The size the baby is now has nothing to do with how tall you're family is.  Listen to you're doctor
