for those where castor oil worked

I tried castor oil last Thursday night around 10:15 PM, about an hour later I got a good case of the runs. I drank it on an empty stomach so around 12:15 I felt nauseous for a couple hours. I got contractions for a couple hours probably around 2:00 AM but they weren't super painful. They were very consistent though but the fact they weren't super painful made me think it was false labor. I've had worse braxton hicks contractions. By the morning the contractions were gone & I had a couple more bathroom visits with the runs but by 8 AM everything was all done. Its all based on if your body is ready or not. My midwfie explained it as trying to get over a fence, if your at the bottom of the fence just starting to get over it will only help get that first step up but thats about it, if your almost over the fence and need a little push then the natural induction methods WILL work. I just did castor oil on friday night and it definitely worked for me. I did end up with just a small bit of diarrhea but nothing major. And baby did not poop inside either. Good luck
