Has anyone one been told they were at high risk to have a baby with ds but it was a false ppsitive?

yup I was told my baby was gonna b down syndrome and I didnt even take the test for it so my dr sent me to go see a specialist and she told me that there was nothing wrong wit my baby but I have to go still see the specialist and my dr but now my specialist is telling my dr where I should deliever and he has to do what she  says

The results arent gonna make me love my baby any less i just wanted to hear other opinions.

My friend had the same test and it said she was high risk and had to go get more testing just to find out the baby was perfectly fine.....They base the test on the what the average percent of pregnant women result which isn't that effective because everyone is different

I regret ever getting that test! My blood test came back positive but the ultrasound showed no signs. All that test did was make me worry like crazy!

My friend was told that she was having a baby with Down syndrome and he's perfectly fine. She had him at 34 weeks though

With my first son I was told I had a 1 in 5 chance that he would have Down syndrome and he came out just fine and now is a happy healthy three year old :)

I have my first test next wed. I'm not worried. Ill love the baby no matter baby with downs are some of the best children in the world

YELP MY BLOOD TEST CAME BACK AND MY CHANCES ARE 1 IN 105 WHICH I WAS WORRIED ABOUT AT FIRST BUT IVE DELT W IT AND ACCEPT IT A BBY W DOWNS IS STILL A BLESSING FROM GOD!!!! WHAT WAS UR PRECENTAGE RATE.. O AND BY THE WAY THEM TEST HAVE A VERY HIGH FALSE READING

Having a baby with downs isnt the end of the world, there are some health concerns with some babies but not all, my friends son has downs and has no other health conditions at all, hes perfectly healthy and adorable! Praying for ur healthy baby x

I have my level 2 ultra sound next friday and i cant wait ive been praying on it but it still has me nervous

I was just told that the other day,and waiting on a appt with a specialists to find out for sure if the baby has it or not.ive heard of a lot of people having a false postive for the first test and the baby turn out fine.
