Down syndrome.

At my next appointment I'll be 17 weeks. My doctor said we will test for Down syndrome. How do they test for it ?

Under 24 weeks they due the blood test

The needle in your tummy is when you test positive I believe, but don't hold me to that, I denied the test both of my pregnancies  they are wrong alot of the time and just cause alot of stress, I figured if my baby had any issues I would cross that bridge when I got to it and would not love my baby any less

That far along I dont think its the blood test, I think its the needle in your tummy. My mom had to do it with both my sisters

A blood test it's your choice if you want to have it done some people say they deny it but I had it done everything came out normal but my mom had tested positive for it with my little brother and it was wrong he came out just fine
