I had an ectopic in early 2007 and my uterus still feels "funny", sort of twitchy, after the laparotomy. Cycles are normal but I get phantom pains in the surgery location on the right upper side of my lower abdomen, it sounds like what you are having could be just that. Our bodies take a long time to completely heal following surgery, even after everything functions normally--and if you have any scar tissue, that tissue will be more sensitive and less flexible. Some cramping is normal in every pregnancy, just make sure you check with your doc if you get any very sharp stabbing type pain. Some aches are probably ok? I'm not a doctor though. Hope it all works out!
Have you had an u/s done to rule out ectopic? I had a cornual ectopic and I felt "things" on the side where it was. A cornual is when it implants in the top corner of your uterus where the tube is. I am not trying to scare you, I just want to make you aware. i am now 8 weeks pregnant and it's implanted right where its suppose to be. I have had many surgeries on my left side of my uterus and I get some weird feelings on that side. I was told it is from adhesions.
