And yeah, it can cause complications. I had an infection in my uterus 2 months postpartum. They had no idea what it was, I was tested for all stds and everything but they treated it like it was an infection of my uterus and it has completely gone away, but it was extremely painful and uncomfortable... I couldn't even wear pants that were snug because it was a sharp pain.
You're "more fertile" after giving birth because you don't know when you'll be ovulating. I didn't wait either and started having sex 2 weeks postpartum. If you feel fine and you don't have stitches you're probably fine, just be sure I use condoms if you don't want to get pregnant right away because the chances of that happening are very high.
You actually have a lot greater of a chance of getting pregnant now and for the first 6mo to a year after having a baby. Plus like the other ladies have said weather you feel it or not your insides are tore up and way out of place, having sex even a month after having your baby can severely hurt you even if it doesn't feel like it is. Talk to your doctor about everything.
I would soooo wait! You can def get pregnant and that would be terrible for your body! By introducing other materials into your body (eg semen) you are at a greater risk for uterine and other infections.
Yes you can get pregnant again one of my cousins has a six month old and is fouronths pregnant with her second
I would seriously wait. Your body needs to recover. And it will be so hard to manage to lil kids. My dr recommend not to have another bubs until I started to get regular petiod which was about 9 months after giving birth for me
I heard its not a great idea you have not actually healed yet and it can be alot of complications with it I would be careful having sexual intercourse after you gave birth is not the best thing you wouldn't get pregnant right away other issues can happen to your insides I would be careful
