confused different due dates help!!!

i have been given a number different due dates. I had an ultrasound done vaginally on monday it put me close to five weeks, well I'm five weeks today to be exact anyhow on the ultrasound we saw a sac and that was all. However I haven't had a period since may 3rd and I had a blighted Ovum in january it has thrown my cycle out of whack. I have used different online calculations and some say february 15th 2011 some say march 3rd 2011 what do I go by one site crazypregnancy.com said if my cycle is 36 days and I cocieved may 25th then it does add up to 5 weeks 1 day. Other sites say I'm 6 weeks. Am I 6 weeks total but the actual age of my sack or hopefully soon to be baby 5 weeks? Some sites say 7 weeks. Oh I'm going crazy here. the ultrasound tech said that it is not considered a viable pregnancy until we see a heartbeat which I should see by the time I go back july 27th any additional advice would be helpful thanks

you had a very early scan so its always hard for drs to be 100% sure how far gone you are.
Waiting until your 12 week scan will confirm your due date

Dr always add on an extra two weeks to your pregnancy anyway.
EG if your periods are every 28 days you would ovulate on the 14th day but they base you pregnancy from first day of your last period. So your baby is actually 2 weeks younger than your pregnancy stage which is why they allow 14 days over due.

Try not to panic or fret about it.
All will be revealed at your 12 week scan

Take a deep breath! It is okay, I promise. Since you cannot pinpoint exactly when ovulation occurred (and even if you did implantation can take 7-12 days past ovulation) a due date is just an estimation. The most accurate way to date it would be by measuring the embryo. When you go in for a followup sonogram they'll measure your little one and give you a better estimated due date.

It is normal to only see a sac at 5 weeks pregnant. Good luck to you!
