Early Labor?

Question

Like some of you saw from my question about mucus plug and bloody show earlier, im pretty positive i lost my mucus plug at about 2 today. This morning at my NST i was having small and pretty regular contractions. Well since i lost my mucus plug i've been crampy on and off and since then its just gotten more frequent. I havent started timing yet because they seem too far apart still. my lower back is killing me, a really achy feeling, about right where my tail bone is and spreads to my hips. also a really crampy feeling from the front of my hips down to my crotch. is this early labor? this is my first pregnancy, i have DS but since he's my step son this is my first experience with any of this lol. when should i start timing my contractions? they dont seem to be any closer then maybe 10 min apart, with trying to take care of DS its hard to really keep track of the time and see if they are regular.

Hey Girl!

I wish I could answer with a voice of experience. It sounds like everything I have read about the early stage of labor. It doesn't sound like active labor yet. Either way...I'm excited for you! I hope you can get DS settled before things get more serious. I'm staying tuned!

Yeah i really hope he goes to bed before anything happens or she decides to wait. Luckily(the only time ill say this lol) were living with my family right now so i don't have to worry about getting him up in the middle of the night to take him or drop him off here. I'm putting him to bed soon then im going to take a warm bath and see if it helps.

eww lost some more mucus plug and the cramping is becoming more regular just not very close together. i feel like i have to pee every ten minutes even though half the time i make the trip to the bathroom for nothing. ughhh im so uncomfortableeee
