Spotting

So here's a little background info...  I will be 28 weeks tomorrow with my 2nd baby.  I was put on bed rest at 33 weeks with my first due to going into pre-term labor.  I wasn't dialated at that time, but I was having regular contractions.  This time around I have been getting weekly progesteron injections to hopefully keep anything from happening this time around.  I started having BH contractions very early on in this pregnancy and they have been regular on and off for about a month and a half.  The contractions haven't been causing any progression and when I had an internal U/S and they stressed my cervix at 26 weeks everything looked great.  Baby is sitting very low with his head right on my cervix, but they weren't concerned about it at the time.  Well for the past few days I've been getting really bad pelvic pain and it has just hurt to walk, even sit sometimes.  I had a little pain like this at around 21 weeks and my Dr. just thought the baby was laying on a nerve somewhere.  So I have been trying to just ignore the pain, but then this morning I had a little spotting when I used the bathroom.  It wasn't a lot, just a little on the toliet paper when I wiped.  I have been a having a lot of contractions, but nothing like actual labor contractions.  My Dr.s office is closed until Monday, but I am just not sure if I should be worried something is going on that needs to be checked before then.  Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks... I didn't end up having anymore spotting yesterday, so I'm going to take it easy and see if I can make it until my regular appt on Tuesday.  If things get worse I'll be sure to call.

You probably need to be checked out.  Call your hospital baby triage nurse and talk with them.  They take calls 24/7.  Especially since you have a history of an early baby.  It doesn't take hard contractions to make change in early labor.  I am sure everything is fine.  Sometimes these babies just get in a twitter.  Goodluck!
