Has anyone been treated this way in L&D

I went to l&d lastnight after 2 hrs of  consistant contractions that were2-3 minutes apart lasting 40-45 seconds. I got tk hospital at 4 cm. I thought for sure they would admit me. After 3 hrs of mlnitoring they told me to go home and rest till i get more intense contraction cause the ones i was having kept me at 4 cm and didnt progress. I cojldnt believe it, i was in so much pain i couldnt walk or narely talk through contractions. Previously, policy wad if u were at 3 cm they would admit you. I was afraid to go home and deliver there. My contractions have completley went away now and im not even getting braxton hicks, wth!? I really thought i was gonna bring baby home. Before, they would let you walk aroumd or something till you dilated more...guess not anymore.

I never know when to go in, ive lost my mucus plug,and dklated 4 cm. I guess ill just wait till my waters break...idk what else they expect me to look out for. They said it doesnt look ljke you are in pain. I told them i am i jis have a high tolerance of pain and can just breath to control it, and i dont cry moan or holler like the other ladies...maybe i should start! Lol...

That is what i was so afraid of happening to me, esp since i have already lost my mucus plug and was 50% effaced and 4 cm...ill bet im 5 cm now

Ive done just that my whole pregnancy, i have a 14 month old i chase up and dow  the stairs all day long( i have a pretty big 2 story house to walk aroj.d in) so anyway i also use the birth ball religiously, im surprised i didnt go into labor earlier. Guess i could try some squats though:) thanks

With my first i was having contractions every 3-4mins and was 3 and half cm dilated well hospital where i live ment to admit you i got told to go home have hot bath. Got home haf bath twenty mins later i was giving birth in back of ambulance. Nice eh!!

It's pretty common. I got sent home at three contracting regularly. But you're not in "active labor" until it causes a cervical change. You can contract continuously, but unless they cause you to dilate further, it's just early labor. I actually got sent home and was back in four hours later vomiting and had gone from three to four. Then an hour after I was admitted my water broke.

Do some squats and walk around. u should be ready to head back in in a few hours. they didn't do that to me cause i was preterm and high risk. but it will happen before u know it
