early labor

I had.my doctors apt. Today and I'm 20weeks. Looking at.my babies she had a concerned look on her face. My little girl is Still measuring behind but my little boy is perfect she said. Then she said it looks like I Could go into pre-mature labor. My cervix is already shortening. I'm really scared now..she told me I should take it easy and I'm going back next week. But I'm 18 and a ftm so I'm worried. Parents aren't really helping they say I got myself into this...any advice? Will they be.ok??? I'm stressing out!

Im exactly like you with just one... Im now 21+1 and my cervix started shortening when i was 16wks. I was put on bedrest and i still am but good news is my baby is fine and i finally got my cervix stitched last week. so dont stress out it does make matters worse. But be very cautious its better to be safe than sorry any type of unusual pain call your doctor. With me i just went to the er if i felt any pain because it happens quick. Take it easy dont lift anything heavy, no bending, no extreme activity. When you sit put your legs up. If you ever need advice on this just send me a message.
