Eating ice

Someone told me that eating ice gives the baby a brain freeze is this true? I eat a cup of ice every 2 to 3 hours.

My cousin just delivered her baby last weekend. Doctor said she was In the 80 percentile and even wanted her to have a scheduled c section. She went into labor 2 days before her scheduled date and delivered a 6lb baby girl :)

Well I do eat healthy and exercise and my doctor said she is at the 78th percentile so she is bigger than average

I don't understand how eating ice causes the baby to be big?? Because iron deficiency actually causes low birth weight..

I've heard its because of iron deficiency and it also messes up ur teeth if its too often somehow I've heard it can cause cavities

Be careful because that can wear away your teeth. And enamel on your teeth.
As for brain freeze on the baby.. Thats silly :P

I eat loads of ice yet my iron levels etc are all fine. Plus neither I or baby gets a brain freeze. Its crazy what tales ppl tell you whilst your preg LOL

Never heard abt the brain freeez bt did hear ice makes yur baby big. Soo slow down. My sister use to eat lots of ice n her lil man was big she needed help to deliver. We knicknamed him iceman for a while lool..

I've already been prescribed iron pills

I have to take iron pills three times a day. I knew something was wrong by me eating ice. So get checked by the dr for iron

I dont know either but ive been finding I get a brain freeze more easily.
I crave everything frozen but im always like that... and mostly cause its like 35 degrees here so its hot!!

Lol that is just ridiculous. Think about it how can something cold in your mouth or stomach affect your babies brain temp.

You should get your iron checked. Most of the time if your craving ice while pregnant your iron is low.

Wow that's random! I know when ur in labor only thing u can have is ice and popsicols (can't spell Lol) I love slurpees so I wanna know too!!
