Ultrasounds

How many times and what weeks will you have ultrasounds.? I had my first yesterday at 10 weeks. And won't have another til 20 weeks. :/ I see ppl all the time saying how thier baby's are measuring but how will I know if I only have two ultrasounds. I am seeing a family doctor instead of OB/GYN because I had too much trouble finding one. I am not going to change doctors. But I didn't kno she wasn't going to do my ultrasounds which was disappointing.

My first ultrasound was 7 weeks and had another 18 week's for the anatomy scan. Those are the only two ill get unless I have problems. I'm 31+3 weeks

To  jkjkl there isn't ant radiation in an ultrasound it's just sound waves like an echo call or something :) babies have no risk with an ultrasound or else i don't think they'd do them at all unless it was completely necessary and there were serious complications that's why you can't get an xray during pregnancy pregnancy though :) so don't worry and love them pictures up!!

Depends on the doctor. I got one at 8weeks, 16weeks, 19weeks, 26weeks and will have another next week at 30weeks

Ive heard that having so many isnt good for the baby because of the radiation & how sensitive they are, just how its 'not good' to stand by a microwave.

I only had one at 20 weeks, and won't be having another, unless there are some sort of complications where it would be necessary.

I had one at 9 weeks to do the dating, 12 weeks to make sure baby was growing, and then 19 for my anatomy scan, then had to go back at 21 because they didn't get all the measurements they needed. Doctor said I won't be getting any more unless there are complications. Every doctor is different.

I had multiple early on,only because I had complications. Some women get more, some only get about three. 10 weeks, 20 weeks for the anatomy scan and possibly another in the later of your third trimester. But I suppose it depends on the doc too.

I got mine at 5wks to rule out multiples cuz my hormone levels were soooooo high they thought i was having more than one another at 10wks, and shouldn't had this last one at 18 but had to reschedule it until 19 cuz my doc was gone that week but he also does them at 27-28wks and another around 35-37wks to make sure the baby won't be to big for a vaginal delivery i think normal pregnancy without complications you get them at 10-12wks, 18-20wks, 27-29wks, and 35-37wks soabout  4 but more if there are complications i had like 6 with my daughter and 9 with my son cuz of complications.... Wow why do i always ramble on!!! Sorry it's so long :(

I'm seeing an OBGYN he's kinda weird and maybe a little off but I see my Baby once a month with printer pictures and everything so I won't change because I love seeing my baby, and Most doctors don't do it that often or print you pictures every time
