EXTREMELY itchy around clitoris!!

This is somewhat gross and embarrassing, but for the past 2 weeks, I have had this constant itching on my clitoris and at the top part of my vagina. I have no STD's, I was just tested. There are no bumps or anything where it itches. At first I just thought that maybe it was a bug bite or something, but it still itches!! I bought those Vagisil anti-itch medicated wipes, and the Monistat anti-itch cream, they work to a certain extent, except that they burn when I first use them. (i don't know if that's normal or if my skin is just THAT irritated from scratching) I do have a Dr. appt. on Wed. but I just want to get some kind of idea as to what would cause this. It's soooo uncomfortable. =/

i agree, i get that ALL the time. its most likely a yeast infection on the outside. its from moisture. you dont have to have the discharge/smell. a lot of times i only have extreme itch.
get some over the counter yeast infection medicine. make sure it has an external cream. walgreens has an off brand i used that worked great. it was a one night treatment, but it came with the external cream that lasted for 7 days.

Try sudocream, it's used for diaper rash and exzema but you can use it in that area too ;-)

it sounds like a yeast infection...their not always internal. Try to get some type of yeast infection medicine that you can buy at a drug store over the counter. If it is a yeast infection, that will help. Good luck!
